Networking your Rada products
In addition to using Rada products standalone, some of our digital products are able to be networked together to help make configuration/setup (as well as remote monitoring) for facilities managers simpler. Networking enables facilities managers to access all the products within their domain from a single access point including making changes to settings, remotely monitoring for thermal flushing, usage activations, error handling and much more.
Rada products also utilise the long-established building management system networking protocol 'Modbus'. Modbus is a well established protocol that is commonly used and ideally suited for connecting multiple devices in a commercial or industrial environment, especially because of its resilience when it comes to electrical interference. Our products are designed for serial communications with our own Rada configuration apps but our products can also be configured to communicate with a building management/automation system if desired.
Should customers wish to take this further, a network of our Modbus capable products can then be potentially connected to a networking router (sold separately) to allow wireless remote access over a Wi-Fi network throughout a building or site.
For customers or facilities managers used to networking BMS/Modbus enabled products and systems, we can also supply additional technical documentation and expertise on how to configure the product to your exact requirements to comply with your disinfection or duty flush procedure/requirements, also including how to extract the automatic flush log files from the product to prove compliance.
